Why We Exist

Many people experience loneliness, disconnection, and a lack of safe spaces where they can truly belong.

ISA.connect was created to change that.

What began as a grassroots response to isolation has grown into a community-led organisation delivering funded programmes that support women, men, families, and diverse communities across Chelmsford and beyond.

Why We Do This

Becoming a parent is one of life's most profound journeys, yet many families face it feeling isolated, unprepared, and overwhelmed. We exist to change that reality.

Accessible Perinatal Support

From pregnancy through early parenthood, we provide comprehensive education and peer support that complements NHS services. Every family deserves access to quality antenatal preparation, regardless of their financial situation.

Community-Led Connection

Run by local mums who've lived this journey, we create genuine peer connections that reduce isolation. Our meet-ups and support circles provide the village that many modern families are missing.

Evidence-Based Education

All our courses and workshops are grounded in current NHS guidelines and research, delivered in clear, jargon-free language. We bridge the gap between clinical information and practical, confident parenting.

ISA Connect is a Registered Community Interest Company

ISA Connect CIC is officially registered as a Community Interest Company. This means we are legally bound to use our income for the benefit of the community rather than private gain.

All income from our courses, memberships and donations goes back into improving our support, funding new programmes and helping families who cannot afford paid services. We follow strict community benefit rules and publish yearly reports to remain open and accountable.

This structure keeps our mission at the centre of everything we do. Families come first today and always.
